Most books are caught up within 30 days of starting. Complex cleanups take longer — and I'll tell you which yours is before we begin.
Then, every month
Transactions categorized daily
Anomalies surface in days, not weeks.
Documents collected
If I need any statements, receipts, or paperwork related to transactions.
Accounts reconciled
Reconciliation is what makes the numbers real.
Books closed
Closed by the 10th of the following month.
Monthly Meeting
A monthly call to walk through the numbers.
Financial statements
Your P&L and balance sheet, delivered after our meeting.
About Sulema
Owner
Over five years of accounting experience. Prior to Valora, I managed the books for companies ranging from early-stage startups to one doing $250 million in revenue. I graduated from Washington State University with a bachelor's in finance.
Across the years I've worked in accounting and alongside business owners, I noticed a common theme — they knew there was money in the bank, and not a lot beyond that. That repetitive response is what inspired me to start a bookkeeping company. I've seen what excellent bookkeeping looks like and the benefits of it, as well as bad bookkeeping and the issues it brings.
Our goal at Valora is not only to provide accurate day-to-day bookkeeping, but to offer services that help entrepreneurs understand and track their business performance, so they can make informed decisions that drive growth.
